One of my favorite foods is quinoa (KEEN-wa). It is similar to rice in that you can eat it as a side dish or use it as a grain in things like waffles and pancakes. The Sue Gregg cookbooks have some of our favorite recipes. We use her blender batter recipe (which is in the free cookbook on her web site) for waffles all the time using quinoa or rice. Another of my favorite foods is buffalo. We use it the same way we would use beef, but I think it tastes much better.
A couple years ago, these would not have been on my list of favorite foods. In fact, I’ve just recently tasted them! We keep trying new foods, so keep checking back for my new favorites!
