First Dance
Daddy borrowed his outfit from a friend, and Moriah and I made our dresses.
Saturday evening Daddy took Moriah and to the Tucson Barn Dance.
When we first arrived, Colonel Scott commended the three of us on our costumes. He said that it’s always a joy to see a family that looks as if it has stepped out of a certain time in history. I was very much encouraged by that!
Once everyone arrived, the dances began! It didn’t matter that we didn’t know the steps, they taught us. And it didn’t matter if you messed up because we were having so much fun.
I can’t wait to go to another historic event!
