Today is my thirteenth birthday. I’m having a tea party with family and older women from church to celebrate my entering into young womanhood. My mom and I just completed a Bible study about becoming a Maiden of Virtue.

I am also excited about being 13 because I get to post on Preparingdaughters.com. It is a forum where girls can post questions, prayer requests and other things. I’ve been reading the older girl’s posts for almost 2 years and I finally get to post!
