Last fall I wrote about having a winter garden. The things we planted before are starting to die, so I’ve planted a summer garden. The biggest and most exciting plants are the tomatoes. Six of the plants we bought and transplanted and the other three are grape tomatoes started from seed.

I’ve already gotten one grape tomato and around 5 full sized ones. Everyone in our family likes them. The birds do too—over half that I’ve harvested have been pecked. We put up some netting to keep them away.
