Sense and Sensibility
This is a really nice site! Sense and Sensibility
It has the most beautiful, modest clothes. They’re historically accurate, but easily worn nowadays.
I do wish they had early Victorian (Civil War) dresses. I think that if they were worn without hoops in public they would be alright. Of course you would have to make one without the huge Pagoda sleeves, etc. and find one that looked a bit more modern.
