For Thanksgiving this year, my mom cooked a 44 lb turkey. Some friends of ours from the St. David area gave it to us. It’s a good thing that we have always carved the turkey before the meal, because there was no way that we were going to bring a whole 44 lb turkey all the way out to my grandparents’ house in Saddlebrooke! My mom brought the leg to show everyone. It was huge! The wishbone was giant too. I don’t know if my sisters will be able to break it!
