Today is my cousin Colin’s 1st Birthday and I was thinking about this time last year… Kaeden and Ivy were staying with us when we got the call that Colin was born. We were all very happy. My mom and dad got to see him a couple days later in ICU but kids aren’t allowed to go in so my sisters and I didn’t get to see him. We saw baby Colin for the first time on September 4 and I got to hold him. He was so small! He had gotten home from the hospital the day before, but he wasn’t truly Home. He went Home to be with Jesus just two days after we met him. I wrote a poem about it. The memorial service and grave side services were held on September 13 and 14.
