Add Dashboard

I haven’t addressed the whole Dashboard vs. Konfabulator issue here before, and I’m not really interested in opening up the debate with this post, but I noticed a couple of interesting things at an Apple Store presentation on Motion yesterday. First, the whole concept of Dashboard widgets is being applied to floating palettes in Motion. It appears as a translucent floating element that changes given the context of the application. It will be interesting to see how far it infiltrates the rest of Apple’s (and others’) software. Also, it is clear that the widgets in Motion are not created with HTML and JavaScript.

Second, the rest of the (admittedly small) group in attendance at the presentation were seemingly oblivious to the whole conflict that seemed so important earlier this summer.
