Web designer expands as writer
Mark Newhouse, of the National Optical Astronomy Observatory, has designed an attractive and functional site for Educational Outreach. He is nearly through with a redesign of the entire site, to be launched early in 2001..
Mark also writes a daily weblog commenting on life, family, news, and technology, which many people from around the world have visited. He has also written several tutorials and pieces about using an iBook that have received much praise throughout the Macintosh community. As a result of these two sites, Mark was recently asked to write an article for A List Apart, an on-line magazine read by thousands of web designers each week. As a result, many more people visited his iBlog site and were able to read about his faith.

1st Time County Fair Entrant Wins 2nd Place Ribbon
Jordan Newhouse's pink and blue 9-patch pillow was on display at the Pima County Fair this past Spring complete with a red ribbon on it. Her sewing and piano instructor, Great Aunt Marilyn Reiter was very pleased.
Luis Palau comes to Tucson
Our whole family was there for both nights of the historic Tucson Festival featuring Luis Palau and great contemporary Christian music. The crowds at Tucson Electric Park broke attendance records with thousands of people filling the stands and blankets or chairs on the baseball field. Our kids' favorite part was the song, Testify to Love, sung by Avalon. Also in appearance were the Katinas, Jaci Velasquez, Audio Adrenaline, Crystal Lewis, and Fernado Ortega. We had a great time hanging out with friends and family and thrilled to the hundreds of people who responded to Luis' invitation to know Jesus personally.
